I'I did a test for a freelance job but had no joy, frustratingly. The image I made can be seen below

Also, some of my previous work was rendered in zbrush without perspective and decent materials, so I've added the improvements.

I've been given a test model to complete for a freelance job after completing this model in the past few days

Finally finished sculpting a model I've been wanting to do for five years now. Zbrush 3 and modern day computer have allowed this to happen. Its a tremendous improvement over my previous effort using only max and photoshop. I'm anxious over the potential feedback I may receive over the coming weeks in several forums.

Last night I've rendered out these views of the horse to be used in the celtic horseman sculpture. So far the two main models are built, that being the man and horse. Still plenty of work to go and I'm looking forward to it.

Been busy doing working other things besides 3d modeling, but have been plugging away with my portfolio as well. I've taken Jelmer's constructive criticism into account and I think its not time to post the latest WIP

Jelmer Boskma at digitalapprenticeworkshop (due to be available 4th July) has made a video tutorial based on my spiderbaby model. The image was only at a WIP stage, but the feedback was excellent and has made a hugh difference. I'll post renders of the new spiderbaby in the coming days.

In the meantime, I have been working on a model of a male template. Here's how its looking now:

I've seen a few loads of artists this year using blogs to keep track of their progress and now I'm going to do the exact same. I've gotten to a stage with the spider baby (seen below) where it is not posed but I want to move on, at least for the time being and work on something different like the cathedral, which needs to be further detailed and mapped, as well as some human characters, something I have none of in my 3d portfolio strangely.
